In June 2010, 26 young people from around the country gathered
in Washington, DC at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to be oriented to their new jobs as interns for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. The interns came from all different parts of the country and brought a wealth of diverse experiences with them. During intern orientation, these interns formed a community of co-workers and friends and prepared to dive headfirst into their diocesan internships in support of CCHD’s work to address the root causes of poverty.
